Animation Diary - 29/07/2011

Sorry this is late. I keep forgetting to post updates. So far, I have reached a dialogue-free sequence. It has taken two sessions to do the first bit. Most of the time was spent drawing the characters. This shot requires the re-introduction of two previous characters and a new position for one of the current characters.

Did a bit of finishing off today. Finishing off the current shot that is. It has taken me about 3 sessions to nail this one. Not much left to do before I can move on to the colour version.

Today went pretty well. Another shot completed. I did my best to make sure it didn't appear dull. I'm constantly making space for irregular motion in my characters.

Today's animation session went well. As the snapshot indicates, I am still continuing the same sequence, but it has been quite productive all the same and the result looks rather natural. I'm pleased with the work I have done and it wasn't mega difficult this time either.

I did a little more animation today which is something considering I haven't updated for a couple of days. I'm starting to enjoy it all the more, though I certainly know when I've had enough. Maybe tomorrow I could try and arrange my day around my animation schedule.

Animation Diary - 06/07/2011

I don't know what I meant when I said I hoped the latest animatic sequence would be more 'impressive' since this is not really the kind of project that allows many opportunities to really get some significant results. I have managed to spend about two hours on this project today and I think it is time to call it a day.
